#Villa Arena Blog
You might wonder what the next 4 pictures have to do with each other:
// Bracelets hanging on a branch // & // A Pink kitchen
Or even more remarkable: // A Boudoir styled bed // & // A Collection of cameras //
Well, all of these items can be found in the all-round Villa Arena Mall in Amsterdam, where I photographed 4 different shops last weekend.
This Saturday, Blogtoday organized a great BLOGEVENT for enthusiastic interior/ lifestyle bloggers. Inspired by lectures of the Big & Famous (like Vosgeparis, Beeldsteil, April&May, Stylecookie and Patrick Kooiman) we – as aspiring great bloggers- had the opportunity to challenge ourselves. The assignment: make great shots and even a greater blogpost about 3 or 4 different shops that can be found within Villa Arena. As I LOVE to photograph pretty interiors, this was just the perfect assignment for me!
If you’d like to check out the FULL photo report about ‘my’ shops in Villa Arena (Woonfabriek // Poush – Pop Up Store // Tulp Keukens // Goossens Slapen) , please continue reading…
1. WOONFABRIEK
It was a great pleasure to walk around in the Woonfabriek. It’s amazing how many different products and brands can be found here. As you can spot furniture, decorations, carpets, flooring and accessories here, it was hard to make a selection ; ) But here are some of my favorite items:
As you might notice: I am always attracted by different materials and texture. Shiny porcelain, glass vases , rough wood or rugged pillows- they all add a different feeling to an interior. In my own home, I like to combine all kinds of different texture as this adds a lot of character. Love these items!
2. POUSH – POP UP STORE
Another store, where I just HAD to take pictures –although it wasn’t on my list- doesn’t need too much introduction. Just have a look:
Poush is a shop that only sells exclusive handmade & vintage products and therefore offers you a very original and unique collection. You really have stop by this shop as it is one of the best within Villa Arena! (The Pop Up Store is located in Villa Arena for one month, from April 5th on.)
3. TULP KEUKENS
I am not a big kitchen expert, but this kitchen definitely made me smile. What a joyful design! I only photographed this one single kitchen -while the entire store is obviously filled with a lot more different types of kitchens. But this one is simply the best! SMEG that!
4. GOOSSENS SLAPEN
And last but not least I went to Goossens Slapen. A bed store with a wide range of different styles. Normally I would be attracted to simple and plain beds like you can see in these first shots…..
… but somehow, I felt attracted to this bohemian bed as well. Don’t you just want to jump in this pile of pillows?
These are only two examples, but Goossens offers you a lot of choice between so many styles. Definitely a recommended place to go when you are looking for a new bedroom style!
AFTER ALL…
I can say I had a great day at the Blogevent and that I was really encouraged in following my passion.
And when it comes to Villa Arena: I have to admit I’ve never been here before (ik kom tenslotte uit 010) but you will definitely see me back again!
Have an inspirational week! ~X
